Shift Pattern: Days
Salary: £15 – £18 per hour (depending on experience) + Overtime at 1.5x (after 40 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:- MIG and TIG welding of mild and stainless steel
- Fabricating components using hand tools and workshop equipment
- Grinding and polishing welds to achieve seamless finishes
- Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings
- Following all health and safety standards in a workshop setting
- Collaborating with a team to meet production targets
- Occasional site work as required
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Confident using hand tools and workshop machinery
- Experience working with varying material thicknesses and sizes
- Ability to polish and grind welds to a high finish
- Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Positive, reliable and flexible attitude
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to commute to the Barnsley-based workshop
- Hourly rate (£15–£18 DOE)
