Overview of the Welder / Fitter Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality welded and fabricated components in line with build times, engineering drawings, and ISO 9001 quality standards. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring strong welding skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities of the Welder / Fitter:
- MIG & MAG welding on medium–heavy steel fabrications (2mm–10mm)
- Building and tack welding assemblies from engineering drawings
- Completing full welds to specification and quality standards
- Identifying and correcting fabrication faults
Key Skills & Experience of the Welder / Fitter:
- Proven experience in MIG & MAG welding
- Skilled in medium–heavy steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Welding/fabrication qualifications (essential)
