CNC Millers OR Turners - Nights (Programmer / Setter / Operator)
Location: Wakefield
Shift: Nights - Monday to Thursday, 6pm-6am
Shift Premium: £20ph with 25% night rate uplift
Overview of the CNC Machinist Role
You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Haas machining centres to produce precision components to tight tolerances. This is a varied, engaging role working across a range of parts and materials.
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
- Programming, setting & operating HAAS 3-axis vertical machining centres
- Producing precision components to drawing tolerances
- Using relevant inspection & measurement equipment
Key Skills & Experience of the CNC Machinist
- Confident and competent programming, setting & operating Haas milling machines
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of inspection and measurement tools
- 4th & 5th axis experience advantageous
- City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline desirable
