About the Role
We are looking for a Recycling Line Operative Assistant to support the daily operation of our client’s recycling line. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced production environment, working as part of a team to ensure efficient processing of materials.
Key Responsibilities of the Recycling Assistant
- Loading conveyors with the correct materials
- Monitoring machinery and assisting with production processes
- Identifying and removing contamination from sorting lines
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
- Supporting daily and weekly maintenance tasks
- Supporting the Recycling Line Operator and Shift Supervisor
The Ideal Recycling Assistant
- Experience in recycling or manufacturing environments (preferred but not essential)
- Machine operation or engineering experience is advantageous
- Willingness to be trained on FLT (Counterbalance/Reach)
