About the Role

We are looking for a Recycling Line Operative Assistant to support the daily operation of our client’s recycling line. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced production environment, working as part of a team to ensure efficient processing of materials.

Key Responsibilities of the Recycling Assistant

  • Loading conveyors with the correct materials
  • Monitoring machinery and assisting with production processes
  • Identifying and removing contamination from sorting lines
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety
  • Keeping work areas clean and organised
  • Supporting daily and weekly maintenance tasks
  • Supporting the Recycling Line Operator and Shift Supervisor

The Ideal Recycling Assistant

  • Experience in recycling or manufacturing environments (preferred but not essential)
  • Machine operation or engineering experience is advantageous
  • Willingness to be trained on FLT (Counterbalance/Reach)
