Duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Complete daily TPMs to a high standard
  • Assist with root cause analysis & corrective actions for recurring issues
  • Work on exciting project/plant improvements
  • Risk assess jobs & work safely
  • Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings

The Ideal Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Foundry/heavy industry experience
  • Time-served Apprenticeship/HNC or equivalent
  • Process experience & fault-finding ability
  • Hydraulic & pneumatic knowledge
