Location: Wakefield

Hours: 40 hours (Tuesday–Friday, days)

Shifts: Day shifts with staggered early finishes. Occasional cover required for holiday/absence.

Pay: Circa £50,000 plus bonuses

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:

  • Carry out and supervise fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical breakdowns
  • Deliver planned maintenance and project work to schedule
  • Supervise and mentor day-to-day activities of maintenance engineers
  • Create and review risk assessments and method statements
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS/reporting systems
  • Read and interpret multi-discipline engineering drawings

Essential Skills & Experience of the Maintenance Supervisor:

  • Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and repair experience
  • Previous experience supervising or leading maintenance teams
  • Experience in heavy industry and/or automated plant
  • Confident creating and working to risk assessments and SOPs
