Key Responsibilities of the CNC Turner:
Programming & Setting – Program, operate, and set CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
Engineering Drawings – Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
Tight Tolerances – Work precisely to specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
Tool Setting – Set up tools, adjusting cutting speeds and feeds for optimal performance.
G-Code Programming – Create and edit programs for roughing, finishing, boring, drilling, and threading cycles.
Quality Inspection – Use verniers, bore gauges, micrometres, and other inspection tools to ensure precision.
Deburring – Remove sharp edges from machined components during production with minimal disruption.
ISO 9001 Compliance – Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with quality standards.
The Ideal CNC Turner:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC programming, with expertise in Fanuc controls.
Strong knowledge of G-code programming and machining processes.
Experience working with tight tolerances and high-precision components.
Proficient in using measurement and inspection equipment.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
