Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are always met, following company policies and procedures.
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC controlled machinery using schematic drawings.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Conduct fault analysis, resolution, and improvement to minimise downtime.
- Support installations of new electrical systems and equipment.
- Work independently and alongside other engineers to resolve both electrical and mechanical issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship (ONC or equivalent preferred)
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within warehouse, FMCG, or automation environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnosis skills on electrical systems
- Confident in working at heights and confined spaces
- Desirable (Advantageous):
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and automation control systems
- Knowledge of variable speed drives and setups
- 18th Edition qualification
