We’re looking for an experienced Machine Tool Engineer to join our client's team. You’ll be responsible for supporting existing machines in the field, diagnosing and correcting electrical/PLC software issues, and assisting with retrofits and upgrades.
While primarily based in Brighouse, you’ll also travel to customer sites across the UK (with occasional overnight stays) to provide hands-on support, commissioning, and project work.
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: Circa £50,000 + overtime
- Hours: 38.5 per week (early finish on a Friday)

The Ideal Candidate:
- Time-served / recognised engineering apprenticeship (NVQ/HNC/HND or higher)
- Skilled in fault diagnosis of electrical and PLC software issues on CNC and manual machine tools
- Confident with Heidenhain (esp. 620/640), Siemens & Fanuc PLC logic – interrogation, modification, and programming
- Capable of reading hydraulic/electrical schematics and carrying out practical hands-on work
- Able to work independently or as part of a small team
- Organised, customer-focused, and willing to travel/stay away as required
- Holds a valid UK driving licence & passport
