We are seeking a detailed oriented shift engineer to join our Fab Operations' Team and support our 24x7 production operation environment. The scope of work involves sustaining and improving compound semiconductor photolithography processes for current technology as well as working with the development team on new technologies to ensure resist coat, expose and develop tool and processes are optimized. In this role, you will implement/improve process control by use of FDC and SPC methods. You will also work in a team environment to drive improvement in tool capability, reduce photo defects, PCM failures, number of held lots and disposition of held lots in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Sustain and improve photolithography processes.
- Improve photolithography process control.
- Improve tool/process outlier detection by use of FDC and SPC methods.
- Reduction of held lots and timely disposition of held lots.
- Responsible for defining and establishing process documentation, including work instructions and process controls.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support required KPIs, Goals and Objectives.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s in science or engineering degree with 2 years of applicable experience (cleanroom experience preferred).
- Process engineering knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Knowledge of core engineering principles.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with other teams, be detail oriented and metrics driven.
- Team player with strong process understanding and process improvement capabilities.
- Able to quickly troubleshoot and find root cause using methodology such as Six Sigma.
- Ability to exercise good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action needed to resolve lot issues.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
