We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workday Financials Analyst with over 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting and optimizing Workday Financial Management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across key financial modules, deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective Workday solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure system efficiency, compliance, and adoption, while also providing technical and functional support across the financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client business requirements and design, build, configure, test, and support Workday Financial Management solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- Configure and support key financial modules including Financial Accounting, Banking and reconciliation, Budgets, Supplier Accounts, Customer Accounts, Settlement, Expenses, Fixed Assets, and Tax.
- Optimize business processes across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), General Ledger, Asset Management, Budgeting, Grants and Awards, and Expense Management.
- Deliver proactive production support, troubleshoot incidents, resolve system errors, and maintain operational stability.
- Design and develop custom and standard financial reports and dashboards.
- Ensure secure financial operations by configuring and managing Workday Security.
- Understanding integration workflows between Workday Financials and external systems (e.g., banks, payment gateways, third-party finance systems).
- Deliver training and documentation to business users, ensuring knowledge transfer and smooth adoption.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and drive value through system optimization.
- Creating custom reports, and dashboards experience with calculated fields.
