- 20+ years of working experience in the Software Industry with 8-10 years of experience in Software Architecture for Web and Mobile Applications
- 5+ years of deep expertise in Composable Commerce architectures and implementation
- Proven experience of migrating eCommerce applications from Monolithic to MACH based Composable Architecture in the Cloud (preferably AWS)
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies, especially NextJS and React
- Experience with MACH compliant platforms and products
- Understanding of search and discovery solutions like Constructor, Algolia
- Experience with headless CMS platforms like Contentstack and Contentful
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) like Akeneo, Pimberly, Bluestone PIM
- Understanding of Order Management System (OMS) like Fluent Commerce, Fulfillment Tools, OneStock and its associated Inventory Management System
- Experience with Ecommerce platforms like CommerceTools, Flooid Commerce, Big Commerce
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); certifications in cloud platforms is preferable
- Experience with Cloud Native Design and integrating cloud services directly into complex solutions
- Strong background in handling Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) especially scalability, performance, and security in large-scale systems
- Experience with microservices architecture and API-first design
- Experience in Quality Engineering and DevSecOps
- Experience of different API Management solutions (Amazon API Gateway, IBM API Connect, MuleSoft, Azure etc.) for Retail Vertical and implemented for different customers
- Experience in developing event-based solutions e.g., Kafka, IBM Middleware, AWS Event Bridge
- Experience with any on-premises ecommerce platforms like Oracle e-commerce is an added benefit
- Hands-on experience in integrating various Payment systems e.g., Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), Buy Now Pay later, Net banking
- Experience in building caching solutions e.g. AWS Elastic cache, Redis, MemCache
- Experience in data monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch, X ray
- Proficient in developing scalable No-SQL databases e.g., AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB
- Working knowledge on data encryption, tokenization
- Working knowledge on securing APIs e.g., using OAuth, Certificates or API keys
- Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM and email marketing
- Ability to provide strategic direction to business and IT teams on best practices for Ecommerce use cases
