If you're the type of Mechanical Project Engineer who wants genuine responsibility, exposure to major projects and the opportunity to accelerate your career, you'll feel right at home here. You'll work closely with experienced Project Managers and Construction Managers but won't be micromanaged. The business empowers its Engineers to take ownership, make decisions and become a key part of project delivery from an early stage.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
  • Coordinating design information and ensuring technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions
  • Managing RFIs and liaising with consultants, subcontractors and design teams
  • Supporting procurement activities and monitoring material deliveries
  • Assisting with programme management and tracking project progress
  • Providing technical support to site teams and helping resolve coordination issues
  • Attending project meetings and maintaining accurate project documentation
  • Assisting with commissioning activities and project handover processes
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with quality standards and Health & Safety requirements

What They're Looking For:

  • Experience working as a Mechanical Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Building Services Engineer within an MEP contractor environment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical building services installations
  • Experience working on commercial construction projects
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach and desire to take ownership of project responsibilities

What's on Offer:

  • A genuine opportunity to progress into Project Management as the business continues to grow
  • The autonomy to make decisions and take ownership of your work
  • Direct access to senior leadership without layers of middle management
  • A culture built on trust, accountability and collaboration
  • Exposure to high-profile commercial fit-out and Shell & Core projects
  • The chance to join a business during a significant growth phase and play a meaningful role in that journey
  • A supportive environment where performance is recognised and rewarded

Benefits Package:

  • Competitive salary
  • Travel expenses
  • Private medical insurance
  • Enhanced pension scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Performance-related bonus
  • Annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays

This is the sort of environment where good people are noticed quickly. If you're ambitious, proactive and want more than being a small cog in a large machine, this could be the ideal next step.
