A leading workplace design and build contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Technical Services Manager for a £2m CAT B commercial fit-out in London.

The business creates high-quality workplaces through an integrated approach covering design, technical coordination, construction and project delivery.

Working alongside an experienced Technical Services Manager, you will help coordinate the mechanical, electrical and public-health elements of the project from design development through installation, commissioning and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Technical Services Manager, MEP Coordinator or Building Services Engineer looking to develop within commercial fit-out.

Assist with the coordination and delivery of the project’s building services.

Coordinate services with architectural finishes, ceilings, partitions, joinery and furniture.

Support MEP procurement and monitor long-lead equipment.

Attend design, subcontractor and project-progress meetings.

Coordinate MEP subcontractors and monitor site progress.

Carry out installation and quality inspections.

Help maintain the technical-services programme.

Liaise with the client, consultants, landlord and wider project team.

Support change control and record variations affecting the services package.

Assist with O&M manuals, record drawings and project handover.

Promote high health, safety and quality standards throughout delivery.

Experience in an assistant technical-services, MEP coordination or building-services role.

Exposure to commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects.

A mechanical, electrical or general building-services background.

Understanding of CAT B services coordination and installation.

Confidence working with subcontractors, consultants and site teams.

A proactive approach and ambition to progress into Technical Services Management.
