Skyswood Primary & Nursery School are looking to appoint two creative and highly motivated teaching assistants for part time, term time only positions in Key Stage 2 as from September 2026 (mornings only). This is a wonderful opportunity to join our friendly and dedicated team. Our school promotes a growth mindset approach and are proud of the outstanding behaviours for learning and the positive community that exists within our school.

Our one-form entry school has a genuine 'family-feel' and our parent partnerships, quality of teaching and learning, support staff and pupil voice are all key strengths within the school. All staff are fully committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all children. You will be passionate about supporting children to reach their potential and confident to support the class teacher in the day to day delivery of literacy and maths.

The successful candidates will work alongside and under the direction of the class teacher, but be willing to take responsibility for intervention groups to support children’s learning. There are two positions available; one for 17.08 hours and one for 19.08 hours to include 2 lunchtimes supporting our wonderful Midday Supervisory team.

The successful candidates will join an innovative and progressive team in a popular and successful academy. Visits are welcomed and highly recommended.
