We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of D2C Growth Planning to lead our Planning department and team. This role will oversee the development and execution of annual and long-term planning models, provide strategic insights to drive Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) growth, and manage cross-functional collaboration at a senior level. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to influence and drive business performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning Leadership: Lead the development and management of a comprehensive D2C subscriber growth model, including detailed forecasting of tiers, acquisition channels, retention, marketing spend, and subscribers. Own the D2C reforecasting and long-range planning (LRP) process, ensuring alignment with business goals and market dynamics. Define and implement best practices for planning processes, ensuring data-driven decision-making at all levels. Act as the central point of contact for all D2C planning initiatives, working closely with senior leadership to align on growth objectives. Support the development of our quarterly marketing plans through collaborative participation in the budgeting process and market prioritisation initiatives.
- D2C Growth Strategy & Business Insights: Identify and evaluate new opportunities for subscriber growth, leveraging data-driven insights and market analysis. Collaborate with marketing, finance, analytics, content and B2B partnership teams to develop and refine strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and overall business performance. Support senior leadership with in-depth analysis and business cases to inform strategic decisions, ensuring a proactive and innovative approach to growth. Provide thought leadership in understanding the commercial dynamics of subscription services, ensuring strategies are informed by market trends and business objectives.
- Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, brand, finance, analytics, and content teams to ensure seamless execution of planning initiatives. Influence and engage with senior executives, presenting complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner. Champion cross-functional collaboration, ensuring teams are aligned and working towards shared growth objectives.
