As the Finance Business Partner for B2B distribution, you will be responsible for managing the performance of SkyShowtime's growing streaming wholesale business across a wide range of MVPDs & non-traditional partners in our 22 markets. With the support of a Senior Finance Analyst you will also be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end P&L of our Shareholders' Linear Channels, with household names such as MTV, Comedy Central, E! and Dreamworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Business Cases to support senior decision makers in exploring new distribution opportunities, including analysis of wider business impacts (e.g. our Direct-to-Consumer business) and consideration of wider strategic goals/business risks.
  • Support delivery of the company's long term B2B distribution strategy, working with the commercial team to build the budget, long range plan and in-year forecasts, and produce relevant materials to update the Board.
  • Utilise big data tools (e.g. Tableau) to produce valuable insight/analysis to inform data driven decision making.
  • Leverage experience and an inquisitive nature to identify and action areas for continual improvement in a start-up environment.
  • Provide effective and constructive challenge to the commercial team to help the business meet its wider strategic goals.
  • Analyse trends/investigating variances and identifying risks and opportunities to the plan.
  • Manage month-end to ensure the B2B distribution P&L/Cashflows are recorded accurately, and performance is reported clearly to Exec stakeholders (CFO/CBO).
  • Manage the day-to-day performance and development of a Senior Finance Analyst, coaching them through tasks and helping to manage priorities.
  • Support the successful implementation of our new financial reporting/forecasting tool (Workday), to drive greater accuracy and efficiency in some of our core Commercial Finance processes.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ideally you will be a qualified finance professional with >2 years of relevant commercial finance experience.
  • Strong experience of influencing business decision-making through the build of consolidated business cases.
  • Keen interest in the media and entertainment industry, bringing lots of energy and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast paced start up environment.
  • Inquisitive mindset with the drive to become a subject matter expert to pro-actively identify risks/opportunities to the plan.
  • Strong track record of working in a fast paced and challenging environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high quality outputs within short timeframes.
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Excel modelling to manage budget, forecasts, and prepare insight/analysis.
  • Some experience of working with big data tools (e.g. Tableau) and Reporting/Forecasting tools (Workday) preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Some experience of managing and delivering through more junior resource.
