At Skyships Automotive Limited, we design and manufacture high-end cockpit solutions for the automotive industry. We’re looking for an experienced SMT Operative / Surface Mount Technician to join our growing production team in Braintree, Essex. If you have experience working with PCB assembly and SMT processes, this is a great opportunity to join an exciting growing technology company.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting up and operating SMT production lines
- Working with pick & place machines (Mycronic preferred)
- Loading feeders and managing job changeovers
- Inspecting electronic PCB assemblies for quality
- Troubleshooting basic manufacturing/process issues
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in SMT / PCB electronics manufacturing (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bonus if you have experience with Mycronic machines—but training will be provided
