Skyrise is the Audience Design platform. Headquartered in Manchester, our team is spread out across the UK from London to the North East. Through unique access to high quality, privacy-first data sets, we help advertisers better their marketing by creating audiences that don’t yet exist. We identify how large these bespoke audiences are, where they tend to live, where they go, what media they consume, what they purchase, what their interests are. We bring this to life with rich visuals and insights before making those learnings available to power better media planning, buying and measurement.
About the role
We pride ourselves on providing spectacular levels of service and insight to our clients, therefore rely on our Sales team to manage the entire sales cycle in terms of finding new clients and closing sales, whilst also providing professional after-sales support to ensure client retention.
Duties and responsibilities
- Drive commercial opportunities within agency holding groups and their respective agency brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential client teams.
- Understand their business objectives, marketing needs, and target audiences to provide customised solutions.
- Regularly communicate with all clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns or issues that may occur.
- Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase Skyrise offerings.
- Engage in negotiations with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and advertising packages whilst considering delivery implications for our team.
- Successfully close deals to secure campaigns and partnerships.
- Manage and track your sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Update client information, record deal details and movements, and monitor your overall sales progress.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Planning, Trading, Product, and Account Managers, to ensure the seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
- Prepare sales reports and present findings to the management team.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement and contribute to sales forecasting and budgeting initiatives.

- Identify target teams and individuals and generate meetings with them to showcase Skyrise’s proposition.
- Secure briefs for upcoming campaigns.
- Secure bookings and work to sales targets.
- Effectively build relationships for Skyrise.
- Presenting product intros and updates well.
What we’re looking for
Skills and attributes:
- Long term history working in a digital agency/client sales roles.
- Bring extensive agency contacts and have strong relationships already in place across both independent and network media agencies.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in a similar sales role.
- Proven experience managing relationships with multiple parties; clients, and internal teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner, in order to interact with the team and clients.
- Experience of working to targets and thriving in a high-pressure environment.
- Working knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
- Good knowledge of the digital media industry, with passion to develop your understanding of the intricacies of the landscape.
- Excellent organisational skills and a desire to provide first class customer service are required.
- Experience working as a self-starter with a consistently positive attitude towards your job, team and company.
- Digital media is a very sociable and vibrant industry; therefore, a willingness to interact with colleagues and clients outside of work hours would be expected.
