The Opportunity
Based in London, we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, passionate and experienced Account Manager to lead Skyports Drone Services' projects expansion in the survey and inspection industry. You will be the face of our multi-year contracts with major utilities companies, responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of our inspection operations and the data outputs from the inspections completed.
You will:
- Be the primary point of contact for Skyports' delivery of multi-year linear asset inspection projects.
- Work across all teams internally to ensure operations take place on time and on budget.
- Monitor external suppliers closely to ensure operations are safe and that data processing is completed within the contractual timelines.
- Support the Business Development team with your expertise to secure additional or follow-on projects with new or existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to monitor customer satisfaction.
Your success will be measured by:
- The timely delivery of linear asset inspection operations and data analysis for customers across the UK.
- The ability to work independently and take full ownership of challenges.
- Customer satisfaction for our delivery of large scale inspection projects.
- Adherence to existing processes and the ability to implement new processes where problems arise.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in managing large scale (1000km+) linear asset inspection services - either in drone or helicopter operations.
- Demonstrable understanding of the challenges when capturing inspection data (LiDAR, NADIR, etc).
- Experience in managing external suppliers to ensure deliverables are provided on time and to the standard required.
- A track record of success in high-growth companies.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries.
- Experience in the drone industry or familiarity with the aviation and/or drone industries.
- A strong ability to embrace discomfort and navigate ambiguity in a nascent industry.
- An understanding of the UK drone regulatory environment is desirable.
