As a Pilot at Skyports, a normal day might look like:
- You travelling to Scandinavia to remote fly some of the latest drone technology for businesses operating in the North Sea and hard to reach locations e.g. oil rigs
- You will spend time working remotely at our ROC centre in Manchester piloting a range of aircraft globally, all from a central control room.
- You will spend some time working from home compiling reports and delivering on the operational administration of flight operations.
- You might be flying out to areas of Africa launching drones to deliver critical medical supplies to remote locations
- On the ground in our Wescott command centre, you will be continuously training and developing your skills taught by our world leading BVLOS drone experts
About you
- You\’re a certified Remote Pilot with a knack for mission planning and a passion for drone technology. Your expertise not only lies in piloting but also in understanding the mechanics and maintenance of drones.
- A proactive problem‑solver who thrives in dynamic environments. Whether it\’s conducting risk assessments, developing ConOps, or ensuring safety compliance, you\’re always ready for the challenge.
- A team player with leadership skills. You\’re comfortable with giving and taking direction and possess the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. Your experience as a team leader or operations supervisor has honed your ability to inspire and guide a team through complex missions.
