Skyline Roofing Centres are a leading supplier of roofing and building materials with branches within and around the M25. We are currently recruiting for a Transport Co-ordinator to join our busy, friendly Transport team. This is a full time, permanent role.
We offer full training but you must have some experience in a similar role. In return we will offer you a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, life assurance & EAP, discretionary bonus, Cyclescheme and Long Service Awards.
The Transport Co-ordinator will be responsible for planning deliveries for a fleet of HGVs and vans.
Responsibilities:- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Vehicle Scheduling
- Monitoring Vehicle tracking
- Communicating with staff/customers via telephone and email
- Processing delivery notes via internal computer system (Microsoft NAV)
- Day to day driver management
- Driver de-briefs
- Transport background
- Basic knowledge of Operator licensing
- Great people skills
- Good IT skills
