Skyline Roofing Centres are a leading supplier of roofing and building materials with branches within and around the M25. We have been operating for over 50 years. We’re recruiting a full‑time, permanent Yard & Warehouse Operative for our friendly, small Uxbridge branch. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that customers are served promptly and efficiently with the correct materials.
- Receive and check off deliveries to the branch, highlighting anomalies and ensuring correct and timely storage of goods in line with Health & Safety Guidelines.
- Assist with picking and loading of orders.
- Monitor stock levels and raise low stock alerts to Branch Management.
- Operate and maintain forklifts safely and in accordance with Health & Safety Guidelines.
- Work and communicate as a team member to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within Company procedure.
- Keep the yard and warehouse clean and tidy at all times in line with Company Health & Safety Guidelines.
- Participate in training to develop knowledge of products and elements necessary to be successful in the business.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Confidence in maths and basic literacy.
- Forklift licence or some forklift experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
