The successful SEND LSA candidate will be a flexible, positive and enthusiastic person, who loves working with secondary age students with special needs and helping them to achieve their potential. The successful LSA candidate will ideally: * Hold a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools * Have GCSEs in English and maths A – C or equivalent Our client is looking for someone who: * has compassion, empathy & professionalism – experience is a plus NOT a must! * has a desire to work with students on the Autism spectrum * has high expectations and is passionate about encouraging the best from every pupil, enabling every child to fulfil their potential * is able to contribute to, and work as part of a team * has excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude * has effective time management and an ability to work on own initiative
