We are seeking a Chartered Temporary Works Design Engineer to join a leading organisation on a permanent basis, working with a key role within the in‑house design team.
Responsibilities
- Working and leading design of projects related to deep basement, demolition, façade retention, crane base, propping, retaining walls, piling, steel structures and more.
- Undertaking detailed design of retaining, bearing & frame structures.
- Leading design conceptualisation.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
- Assisting change and developing more efficiency.
- Working closely with broader project teams.
Qualifications
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE).
- Experience working with a well‑respected consultancy or contractors in‑house design team.
- Experience in temporary works design.
- Leadership skills to manage project teams and create positive change.
