Introduction

Support Skyline’s aircraft component repairs team with repair order administration, supplier liaison, customer updates, logistics coordination and accurate data entry.

About the Employer

Skyline Aero is an aviation business based near to Royal Wootton Bassett. The repairs team supports internal and external customers with aircraft component repair activity, working with suppliers, customers and internal colleagues to coordinate repair orders, updates, documentation and logistics.

What You'll Do

Support the Repair Manager and sales team in coordinating the day-to-day repairs process.

Monitor the repairs inbox and help acknowledge customer enquiries, requests and updates in a timely and professional way.

Raise, update and maintain repair order records, ensuring information is accurate, complete and easy to track.

Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal colleagues to gather information, chase updates and keep repairs moving through the process.

Assist with quotations, purchase order administration, shipment records and repair documentation where required.

Help maintain repair trackers, spreadsheets and status reports so the team has clear visibility of open work, priorities and overdue actions.

Support logistics administration where required.

File repair paperwork, certificates and supporting documentation in line with Skyline’s quality and record keeping requirements.

Contribute ideas to improve administration processes, customer communication and repair tracking as confidence grows.

The role is office based at Skyline Aero, Oxleaze Business Park, Greenhill, Royal Wootton Bassett, SN4 8EH. The location may require reliable transport depending on where the apprentice lives.

Training Outcome

On successful completion, there may be opportunities to progress into repairs administration, repairs coordination, warehousing or other areas, depending on business need and individual performance.
