Skylight Transport Ltd is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced and driven HR / Recruitment Executive to join our growing operations team in London.

Established in 2014, Skylight Transport is a nationwide logistics and transport company specialising in:

  • Last-Mile Delivery
  • Multi-Drop Logistics

  • Courier & Transport Operations

With hundreds of drivers operating daily across multiple contracts throughout the UK, recruitment plays a huge role in our success β€” and this is where YOU come in.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are specifically looking for someone with strong experience in driver recruitment within the logistics industry. You must have experience recruiting:

  • Van Drivers
  • Box Truck Drivers
  • Bike Riders
  • Owner Drivers
  • Multi-Drop Couriers
  • Self-Employed Drivers

This is a fast-paced and hands-on role where you will be responsible for helping us scale our operations while ensuring high-quality driver onboarding and compliance standards are maintained at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the full recruitment cycle from application to onboarding
  • Advertising vacancies across job boards and social media platforms
  • Screening and interviewing potential drivers daily
  • Conducting right-to-work checks and compliance verification
  • Assisting drivers with onboarding documentation and inductions
  • Coordinating with operations teams regarding staffing requirements
  • Managing recruitment pipelines and maintaining recruitment trackers
  • Building and maintaining a strong pool of active and backup drivers
  • Supporting retention and driver engagement initiatives
  • Working closely with management to meet operational targets and peak demands

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous recruitment experience within courier/logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of driver onboarding and compliance
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using recruitment platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive attitude
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred

SALARY

Salary will be dependent on experience and the value the candidate can bring to the business.

IMPORTANT

  • This is a fully office-based role in Colindale, London
  • Applicants MUST be willing to work from the office full-time
  • No work permit or visa sponsorship will be provided for this role
  • Immediate start is a must requirement
  • Interviews will be held face-to-face at our Colindale office
