About Skylight Psychiatry: Skylight Psychiatry is a forward thinking, dynamic mental health service. We are a CQC registered service delivering person-centred assessment, care and support, with our ultimate aim being to improve the lives of people with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, Autism and Learning disabilities.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will administer ADHD assessments virtually, providing in person appointments where required. The individual must have a strong understanding of safeguarding, and risk assessment and management. Proficiency in computer skills is imperative, and training will be provided on our patient record system. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years’ experience in the diagnosis and management of ADHD. Successful candidates will share our visions and values and have an understanding or passion for working with neurodivergent individuals.
Responsibilities
- Undertake virtual ADHD assessments, and in person when required
- Preparation of reports within the required timeframes
- Attend quarterly supervision sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in patient record systems, clinical reports and other associated documentation
- For employed roles (full time or part time), there will be a set number of assessments to complete per week, as well as time to contribute to other service activities
Essential Requirements
- Must be a registered healthcare professional, e.g. NMC, HCPC
- 2 years’ experience in assessment and diagnosis of ADHD
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Problem solving skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Attention to detail
- Flexible and ability to adapt to service needs
- Skilled communicator
- Good understanding of data confidentiality
- Good understanding of risk assessment, management and dealing with safeguarding concerns
Desirable Requirements
