Operations Manager

SkyLift provides turnkey UAV VLOS and BVLOS solutions to solve logistical and time-critical challenges in difficult environments. The company's primary focus is heavy-lift offshore drone solutions.

Role Description

This is a full-time Operations Manager role located in Market Harborough. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations involving local and offshore flight teams, coordinating with different departments for aircraft/ground infrastructure readiness, ensuring regulatory compliance across air land and sea while working with the regulatory team and helping with documentation. This is a varied role in a unique industry.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Problem-solving and Decision-making skills
• Experience in operations management
• Strong Admin skills in Word/Excel
• Knowledge of CAA/SORA regulatory compliance and safety standards is a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to analyse data and implement process improvements
• Experience in the aviation industry is a plus
• Offshore experience in Wind/Shipping etc is a plus
• Some Project management experience is a plus
