Job Title: Helicopter Construction Worker/Task Specialist

Base Location: Fife Airport, Glenrothes KY6 2SZ

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join our dedicated team as a Task Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering highly specialised helicopter underslung load lifting services. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a tight-knit team, working in diverse locations across the UK and Ireland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Execute precision lifting support and transportation tasks as part of complex aerial operations. This involves safely hooking and unhooking loads from underneath the helicopter while in radio contact with the pilot. Tasks include:

· Handling helibags, skips of stone or concrete, or rigging other materials and attaching to helicopter's hook

· Releasing stone, concrete or other materials at the drop sites, including hiking between drop sites in difficult hilly and/or moorland terrain

· Refuelling the helicopter, attaching and releasing lines and hooks

· Maintain the highest standards of safety and precision under physically and mentally demanding conditions.

· Drive pickups with trailers and fuel bowsers, often driving long distances (approx. 30,000 miles per year) to remote job sites.

· Support various on-site operations, often requiring extended periods of overnight stays away from home during the week.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

· Enthusiastic, safety-conscious, precise, with a strong work ethic.

· Comfortable with extensive travel and capable of handling physically demanding tasks.

· Previous experience in aviation or construction ground operations or similar fields is preferred but not required.

· Holds a valid driver’s licence, preferably with experience driving large vehicles and towing trailers.

· Based in Fife

OFFER:

· Starting salary of £32,000 to £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

· Comprehensive training in heli load lifting provided (also ADR) to enhance your skills and knowledge.

· Weekend overtime is sometimes required, compensated as either paid overtime or lieu days depending on project.
