This client specialises in large projects from £10m up to in excess of £100m\n \n \n Job Summary: \n \n Design Manager on large construction projects in West London. Reporting into the site based Construction Director.\n \n \n ASAP interview and start for the ideal candidate. \n For a confidential discussion about this position please contact Skye Recruitment \n \n \n \n Previous experience as a Design Coordinator / Design Manager \n Managing the day-to-day design process on the project \n Ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the Clients and Developers requirements \n Maintain and update project reporting. \n The ability to communicate effectively across all levels. \n Working day to day along the commercial team \n A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines.\n \n \n \n \n \n Excellent all round technical knowledge \n Either an Architectural or Construction backgrounds \n Previous experience with a Main Contractor or Developer \n Understanding the RIBA plan of work \n An industry applicable qualification. \n Proven track record from similar sector specific organisations. \n Hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid tickets. \n Ideally knowledge in refurbishment projects in Central London \n Able to work as part of a team \n Previous UK Construction experience is preferred. \n Ability to manage the sub-contractors on site \n Strong work ethic \n An excellent communicator. \n Have strong commercial awareness. \n Good IT knowledge\n \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
