PLANNER – WEST LONDON
Our client is a large main contractor based in West London. This client specialises in new build and refurbishment projects from £10m up to in excess of £100m.
Job Summary
Planner to work on large new build / refurbishment projects in Central London. Reporting into the Construction Director.
- Role / Responsibilities
- Manage personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
- Drawing up the tender programme and contribute to tender queries
- Cooperate with the design engineer to establish a design brief for temporary works.
- The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Prepare a resourced programme
- Provide a schedule of temporary works
- Attend the tender review meetings
- Attending the handover meetings
- Working day to day along the other site based teams
- Ideal Candidate
- Construction background
- Previous experience as a Planner
- Experience on Primavera P6 and Asta systems
- An industry applicable qualification.
- Proven track record from similar sector specific organisations.
- Able to work as part of a team
- Previous UK Construction experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage the sub-contractors on site
- A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines.
- An excellent communicator.
- Have strong commercial awareness.
- Good IT knowledge
