PLANNER – WEST LONDON

Our client is a large main contractor based in West London. This client specialises in new build and refurbishment projects from £10m up to in excess of £100m.

Job Summary

Planner to work on large new build / refurbishment projects in Central London. Reporting into the Construction Director.

  • Role / Responsibilities
  • Manage personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
  • Drawing up the tender programme and contribute to tender queries
  • Cooperate with the design engineer to establish a design brief for temporary works.
  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Prepare a resourced programme
  • Provide a schedule of temporary works
  • Attend the tender review meetings
  • Attending the handover meetings
  • Working day to day along the other site based teams
  • Ideal Candidate
  • Construction background
  • Previous experience as a Planner
  • Experience on Primavera P6 and Asta systems
  • An industry applicable qualification.
  • Proven track record from similar sector specific organisations.
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Previous UK Construction experience is preferred.
  • Ability to manage the sub-contractors on site
  • A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines.
  • An excellent communicator.
  • Have strong commercial awareness.
  • Good IT knowledge
