Skydatasol Security is seeking an experienced Cash and Valuable in Transit (CViT) Trainer to design, deliver, and certify professional training programmes for operatives working in high-risk cash, valuables, and secure logistics environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for training delivery, competency assessment, licence activation readiness, and compliance with UK SIA, awarding body, and operational standards, ensuring that learners are fully prepared to lawfully work in CViT operations within the UK.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver Cash and Valuable in Transit (CViT) training in line with SIA specifications and approved awarding-body standards
- Prepare learners for SIA CViT licence applications, renewals, and role activation
- Assess learner competence across:
- Threat and risk awareness
- Secure handling of cash and valuables
- Defensive and preventative security procedures
- Emergency response, conflict management, and incident reporting
Mandatory Licence & Compliance Requirements
Applicants must hold the following:
- Valid SIA Cash and Valuable in Transit (CViT) Licence
- Enhanced DBS Check (current or eligible to obtain)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Valid First Aid at Work (FAW or EFAW) certificate
- Conflict Management qualification aligned with SIA standards
- Proven operational or instructional experience in CViT or high-risk security roles
Awarding-Body & Trainer Activation Requirements
To activate and deliver licensed training with Skydatasol Security, the trainer must also meet award-delivery eligibility, including:
- Recognised Teaching / Training Qualification, such as:
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent
- Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) cooperation
- High-value transport or critical infrastructure protection
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks, SOPs, and incident escalation protocols
- Experience working with metropolitan or high-threat environments, including London operations
