Deputy Manager – Children's Residential Home (EBD)

Location: Leyland, PR25
Salary: Up to Β£40,000 per annum
Home Type: 3-Bedroom EBD Children's Residential Home

Are you an experienced children's residential care professional looking to take the next step in your career?

Mon Ami Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Leyland.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a Children's Residential Home
    Strong understanding of safeguarding and children's care regulations
    NVQ/QCF Level 3 or Level 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
    Leadership skills and the ability to support and motivate a care team
    Commitment to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for young people

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home
  • Lead and mentor the care team
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
  • Promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and support strategies
