Supported Living supports up to 21 people with complex needs, mental health issues, learning disabilities or autism. We provide care and support to people within their own tenancy or living environment, either shared or solo, for those who present with behaviours which challenge or who struggle to share a living environment.

This role requires a confident, passionate individual looking to make a huge difference. We support people who require 1:1, 2:1 or at times 3:1 support, creating environments where staff can withdraw and allow people to self‑regulate within their home environment—our approach is always least restrictive and person‑centred.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Demonstrable support worker experience working with service users who have been homeless and/or have complex needs including mental health, substance misuse, and domestic abuse.
  • Ability to assess service users’ needs in order to plan and deliver effective and engaging support.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage risk, ensuring all procedures are followed and risk is managed appropriately.
  • Support service users in volunteering and community work involving group activities.
  • Flexibility to work weekends on a rota basis and able to travel; vehicle access is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate support and assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, medication administration and personal care.
  • Monitor and document clients’ health and well‑being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well‑being.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and their families, fostering a supportive environment.
