We're looking for Registered Nurses for our Care Home based in New Milton, Hampshire. The Care home offers 24/7 residential care, elderly care, end of life care, respite care and general nursing care, as well as dementia care. Night shifts available 8pm-8am, 12-hour shifts. Pay rate £21.7- £22.7 per hour depending on the experience. Full-time. Paid breaks.

About the role: As our Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for all care and nursing needs of our residents. You’ll supervise the delivery of care by the care team and will identify training and development needs. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their care and nursing needs.

Information about the Role: Working as an RGN Nurse (Registered General Nurse) involves assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You will administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term service users. It is essential to behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code. You should be competent and confident in managing people with long-term health conditions, assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users as appropriate. Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care. Recognise and work within your own competence level and produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures. Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis and engage in continual personal development to enhance yourself and the role.

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Having own transportation to get to work is desirable
