About you:
- An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
- You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
- You will have excellent communication skills.
- You will work well within the team, leading, supporting and training junior staff members.
- You will have previous experience in motivating the team.
- You must have a UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN).
- Active UK NMC PIN.
- Clear DBS and 2 satisfactory references.
Duties:
- Assess and monitor patient health by performing physical examinations and obtaining medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries and concerns, providing support and guidance as needed.
