Healthcare assistants to join our Nursing home

Situated in the peaceful village of Winwick in Warrington, our CARE HOME provides fantastic care for those with a variety of needs and accommodates up to 36 residents. Staff are fluent in both English and Indian languages and are committed to providing personalised care for all.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, hours: 33- 44 per week

Salary: Β£12.71 per hour

Please NOTE we are not able to provide sponsorship, we do need only care assistants able to work full-time ( 33-44 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
  • Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
  • Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
  • Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
  • Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
  • Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required
  • Answer the door and telephone appropriately
  • Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
  • Report on well-being of Residents
  • Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc

Requirements for the role

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Previous experience of working with the relevant Service in a Nursing home is mandatory
  • Experience with dementia, brain injury and nursing
  • Right to work in the UK ,we do not provide sponsorship
  • Clear DBS and 2 satisfactory references
