We are looking for enthusiastic applicants for a Support Worker for our services based in the West Yorkshire area: Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Castleford, WF10, Normanton and other small homes.
Shifts available: currently have day and night shift patterns available, working on a rolling rota. Pay rate is £12.21 per hour, overtime +£1 per hour.
Experience required: at least 6 months as a healthcare assistant or Support Worker in a care home or supported living location.

Requirements:
- Demonstrable support worker experience, working with service users who have been homeless and/or have complex needs including mental health, substance misuse, and domestic abuse
- Ability to assess service users' needs in order to plan and deliver effective and engaging support
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage risk, ensuring that all procedures are followed
- Support service users in volunteering and community work involving group activities
- Flexibility to work weekends on a rota basis
- Access to a vehicle is desirable
- Ability to drive is desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
- Experience in care homes is advantageous

- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Maintain clear communication with clients and their families, fostering a supportive environment
