Night Registered Nurse / Night Registered Mental Nurse

Full time, 36 hours per week. Night shifts.

Sponsorship provided for the right applicant. The role is for our Nursing home based in Bradford.

Available Hours: 36-48 hours per week

Pay rate: £22 per hour depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Our qualified nursing team are available 24 hours a day to provide medical and other forms of specialised support. Respecting older people and recognising each resident as a unique individual, our nurses provide not just high-quality nursing skills, but truly person-centred care.

About the Role:

  • Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the nursing home
  • Overseeing the day-to-day care of patients and the administration of required medication
  • Providing nursing and personal care to residents and promoting their abilities
  • Supervising qualified and unqualified staff on a day-to-day basis as delegated by Line Manager
  • Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care
  • Maintaining the required medical documentation
  • Upholding residents’ rights to privacy, dignity and choice
  • Reporting any ill health among the residents and requesting professional visits when necessary
  • Familiarising yourself with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines
  • Abiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC’s) code of professional conduct

Please note we are only accepting candidates with a UK active PIN, at least 1 year of experience in the UK, who are team players and able to be good leaders on night shifts.

Main requirements for this role:

  • Must be a registered nurse (current PIN number with NMC), no restrictions preferably a Registered Mental Nurse
  • Experience with people with schizophrenia personality disorder
  • A good leader

  • The ability to supervise other staff members comfortably and competently
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
