As our Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for all care and nursing needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured and long‑term service users.
  • Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the NMC Code.
  • Be competent and confident in managing people with long‑term health conditions.
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
  • Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
  • Recognise and work within own competence level, produce accurate, contemporaneous and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high‑stress situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: Care Home is situated in Oswestry (Croesoswallt), Shropshire, not far from the Welsh border. The 69‑bedroom facility is a versatile care home that looks after adult residents of all ages with a variety of physical and mental health conditions, providing specialist care and ample opportunities for socialising and activities.

Pay rate £18.50‑£19.00 per hour, overtime £2.00. No sponsorship provided.
