A well-established engineering and services business operating within the commercial heating and cooling sector is seeking an experienced Technical Sales & Projects Engineer to support continued growth and operational delivery. This is a senior, hands-on role combining technical engineering expertise, sales development and project management, working closely with the local Branch Manager and wider operational teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships and overseeing engineering projects from enquiry through to completion. The position offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility within a stable and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across:
- Engineering projects and installations
- Planned maintenance contracts
- Service and reactive works
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Engineering background with strong technical capability.
- Mechanical, electrical, gas or heating qualifications advantageous.
- Experience within a contracting or engineering environment.
- Commercially aware with proven customer-facing experience.
- Competent user of IT systems (Mac & PC), including Word and Excel.
- Good understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
