We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to work with a young man in Ammanford who has learning disabilities, an acquired brain injury, and presents with severe behaviours which challenge as he begins his transitions to support living in his own home.
Your focus will be dual: delivering highly skilled therapeutic interventions while prioritising his joy, happiness, and quality of life—we want to see him smile!
Responsibilities- Implement Therapeutic Plans: Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions precisely developed by a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
- Be a Joy Giver: Focus first and foremost on creating positive experiences, ensuring the young man is happy and enjoys his time with you.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly as a crucial member of a small, highly trained team in the Swansea area.
- Commit to PBS: Learn and apply the most up-to-date, evidence-based, and compassionate methods for reducing behaviours that challenge.
- Professional Development – Paid training and clear career progression.
- Specialist Qualification – Opportunities to complete Level 3 – Level 5 Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) qualification. 50% funding towards MSc Applied Behaviour Analysis course.

- From £13.45 per hour.
- Hours: A range of shift patterns are available 11pm – 7am, Friday – Sunday (More shifts and pattern variety may become available in the future as the young person’s needs evolve).
Ammanford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
