Skyborne Airline Academy are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail oriented individual to support the day‑to‑day financial operations within the aviation sector. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, supporting month‑end processes, and working collaboratively within a small Finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase ledger invoices and expenses + ensure correct Nominal Ledger coding.
- Process Sales Ledger Invoices.
- Ensure that all invoices are appropriately approved.
- Assist with monthly cash flow forecast.
- Manage regular payment runs and ad‑hoc payments using Online Banking.
- Process monthly accruals and prepayments journals.
- Manage monthly intercompany reconciliation.
- Deal with supplier queries and reconcile supplier statements.
- Assist with production of month end and year end reconciliations.
- Process Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Recommend improvements in efficiencies to systems.
- Monitor the Finance department email inbox and respond to queries.
- Assist with external audit queries.
Qualifications & Benefits:

- Strong experience with accounting packages and small business accounting software.
