As a Multi-Engine Flight Instructor (MEP IR), you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality flight and simulator instruction to our trainees in compliance with Skyborne’s training and safety standards, and in line with the applicable Aviation Authority regulations. You will instruct at state-of-the-art training facilities using the very latest aircraft, simulators, course ware and surrounded by inspiring colleagues who are all committed to delivering the very best.

Responsibilities include conducting training in accordance with the approved ATO training manual and Academy published schedule/programme, as well as delivering briefings and debriefings to trainees. You would be expected to comply with all rules and procedures detailed in the ATO Operations Manual and to uphold flight safety in every aspect of training. This position is available on a full time, part time or contractual basis.

Qualifications:

  • UK CAA Part-FCL unrestricted Flight Instructor (A) with instructional privileges including SEP (Land), Night, CPL, Instrument & MEP (Land).
  • Minimum 500 hours flight time.
  • Minimum 200 hours instructional time.
  • Minimum 30 hours Pilot in Command MEP (Land).
  • Unrestricted UK CAA Class 1 Medical.
