More Information

Skyborne Airline Academy is offering sponsored upgrade opportunities for Flight Instructors looking to enhance their instructional qualifications and progress their careers.

If you hold an unrestricted FI(A), we can offer bonded instructor upgrade pathways, including sponsorship towards:

  • Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) privileges
  • Multi-Engine Class Rating Instructor (CRI ME)
  • PIC Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) hour requirements

Not only will we fund these upgrades through our bonded training programme, but you'll also receive a salary throughout your training. Once fully qualified, your salary will increase in line with our Flight Instructors to £62,400, and you'll become eligible for our uncapped bonus scheme.

Our modern fleet of eight DA42 aircraft is supported by an in-house maintenance team, with preventative maintenance inspections conducted every 100 hours. This proactive approach helps maximise aircraft availability, enabling instructors to make the most of their flying hours and training opportunities.

This position is based onsite at Gloucestershire Airport and is available on a full time basis.

We encourage applications from candidates who are close to meeting the required criteria, as all applications will be individually reviewed by our Training team.
