Skybod Healthcare Ltd is looking for caring and professional live-in carers to provide individualised one-to-one care and companionship for clients in their own homes.
This is a self-employed role, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering high-quality, person-centred support that helps clients maintain safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support medication routines and daily wellbeing tasks
- Prepare meals and assist with light domestic duties
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
- Assist with mobility and safe movement
- Accompany clients to appointments, walks, or social activities
- Observe and report any changes in health or condition
Self-Employment Guidance
This role is open to self-employed candidates only:
- You must have or be willing to obtain a UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) from HMRC.
- If you do not yet have a UTR, Skybod Healthcare Ltd can provide a detailed step-by-step guide to help you register.
- Candidates on a sponsor visa cannot work as self-employed, and Skybod Healthcare Ltd cannot provide visa sponsorship.
- You can check your visa or immigration status to ensure you are eligible to work as self-employed in the UK.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months\' care experience (live-in or domiciliary)
- Self-employed or willing to register
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK and professional references
- Naturally caring, professional, and reliable
- Bonus: NVQ Level 2/3 or First Aid certification
