Self-Employed Live-In Care Worker – Skybod Healthcare Ltd

Skybod Healthcare Ltd is seeking caring, dependable live-in care workers to provide personalised, one-to-one support to clients in their homes.

This is a self-employed position, offering flexibility and independence while allowing you to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports clients\’ comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming
• Support with medication reminders and daily wellbeing checks
• Prepare meals and carry out light household duties
• Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers
• Accompany clients to appointments, outings, or activities
• Observe and report any changes in health or behaviour

Self-Employment Guidance

This role is only for self-employed candidates:

• You must have or be willing to register for a UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference)
• If you do not have a UTR yet, Skybod Healthcare Ltd can provide a step-by-step guide
• Sponsor visa holders cannot work as self-employed, and Skybod Healthcare Ltd cannot provide sponsorship
• Please check your visa or immigration status to ensure self-employment is allowed

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months\’ experience in live-in or domiciliary care
• Self-employed or willing to register
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Right to work in the UK
• Two professional references
• Caring, professional, and reliable approach
• Optional: NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care, First Aid certification
