Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specializing in construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, is currently seeking Kerb Layers to join them on a busy site at Derby Rd, Uttoxeter ST14 5AA.
As a Kerb Layer your duties will include:
- Preparing ground surfaces, trenches, and sub-bases for kerb installation
- Mixing and laying mortar/concrete for kerb bedding
- Installing, aligning, and levelling different types of kerbs, including pin kerbs for footpaths
- Cutting kerbs to required dimensions for corners and junctions
- Checking levels and gradients for correct drainage and alignment
- Backfilling and haunching to secure kerbs in place
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working area
- Adhering to all site safety rules and regulations
The Successful Labourer must have:
- A valid Blue CPCS card (groundworks preferred)
- Up-to-date CV
- Relevant Experience
