A leading power and utilities contractor is currently seeking a Gantry Crane Operator (NG Person) to support Power Transmission & Distribution works on a National Grid project.
Duties include:
- Operating gantry crane equipment on a National Grid site
- Supporting lifting operations in a live power environment
- Working in accordance with National Grid rules and procedures
- Assisting site operations as required
- Carrying out pre-use checks and maintaining equipment standards
- Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- NG Person authorisation
- Experience operating gantry cranes
- Previous Power T&D or National Grid project experience
- Strong understanding of site safety and lifting operations
